Frequently Asked Questions
We are a proscenium style theatre with 613 seats.
Each event has different seating requirements. Please inquire with event organizers.
All the seats in the Michael J Fox Theatre provide high-quality audio and amazing sightlines of the stage. Patrons typically prefer seats in the lower and upper centre houses.
There is only one entrance which is located in the lower lobby as there is no balcony seating at the Michael J Fox Theatre.
Doors to the auditorium typically open 30 minutes before curtain, and the outside lobby doors open 1 hour before an event begins but may vary.
There are a limited number of Booster Seats available. These seats will be offered on a first come first served basis and will require a deposit of $20 cash or a piece of government issued ID (ex. BC Drivers’ License). Please ask our Front of House staff for assistance. You can return the booster seat to any Front of House staff after the event in exchange for your deposit.
Late arrival entry and seating is at the discretion of the Front of House staff.
To minimize the distraction for our patrons and the performers, re-entry to the Theatre is at the discretion of the Front of House staff. Ticket stubs and/or hand stamps will need to be presented.
Due to local fire regulations, safety and as a courtesy to other patrons, aisles and seating walkways must be kept clear at all times.
