On behalf of the Bulgarian-Canadian Society of BC, we would like to invite you to the Bulgarian Folklore Dance Concert KANATITZA

The concert is part of the First Bulgarian Festival for Dance and Hand Stitched Embroidery KANATITZA FEST on September 22 to 24, 2023! The Festival has multiple events over three days with participants from Toronto, Kitchener, Calgary, Montreal, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and of course Vancouver.

Special guest of the festival will be Dilyana Kurdova with a presentation of her book “Reflections on Bulgarian Women’s Costume” at 5:30PM in the Theatre  

This concert will feature music and dance performances as well as the premiere of mini documentary presentations about the history of the Bulgarian diaspora in Vancouver.

We will also enjoy the magical voice of Bulgarian folklore, presented by Diana Dimova, who sings with heart and soul.

You’ll see also the Kanatitza Festival Logo Contest exhibit. After the concert will be a reception.
